Using Astrology To Build A New You In 2018

Saturn Is The Key In Astrology

Do you want to build a new you in 2018? Learning to work with Saturn, the planet of structure, is key to making any long-term changes stick. Last month, this juggernaut of a planet moved into the sign of Capricorn, where it will stay for the next 3 years.  One of the major themes for all of us is achieving success through our own hard work and discipline.

The Good News

The good news is that if you don’t shy away from such things this shift in energy is fantastically supportive to be able to do whatever you set your mind to. It will help give you the focus to make a plan and follow through, not with cheap short-term tricks, but with one foot in front of the other. Saturn builds things that last, so we want to be thorough and methodical about what we do.

The area that Capricorn occupies in your natal chart will determine where this focus will be in the coming few years. If it’s in your 1st House it is a time of redefining your identity and stepping into who you want to be. If it’s in your 7th House it may be working on your relationships, shoring them up and helping you to stand up for what you need. If Capricorn is in your 10th House then your career is going to be boosted.

Built To Last

Whatever the area, Saturn has a 30-year cycle around the zodiac, compared to the sun’s one year. This means it can’t really fool around because it won’t be back in this House for a long time once it leaves. The foundation has to be rock solid and unbreakable and Saturn will help you to achieve this by any means necessary. It won’t be easy, but by the end of this 3-year transit it will have been worth it, so long as you did your part. After all, Saturn is also the planet of Karma and reaping what we sow. 😉
