Why Do I Need To Cleanse or Detox My Body? Doesn’t It Do It By Itself?
I get this question a lot. Yes! Our bodies are designed to detox on their own. There are systems in place that allow this to happen. But when the systems are bombarded, overloaded or otherwise compromised you should think about detoxing or cleansing your body.
We Are Exposed to Hundreds of Chemicals Daily
Did you ever stop and think about the number of toxins your body is exposed to on a daily basis? From the time you wake up until going to bed at night you can be exposed to over 200 different chemicals. The air we breathe, chemicals in our food, pharmaceutical and over the counter medications, water, home, and workplaces, as well as various products we put on our bodies are the sources of exposure to environmental toxins. Our bodies also make internal toxins, for example inflammation. Over time, our bodies are exposed to thousands of chemicals. As the years progress more and more chemicals are being introduced into our world. Things are vastly different than they were even 20 years ago.

Toxicity occurs when our bodies lose some of its ability to naturally detox itself.
